- To form strategic links and collaboration with local and international universities, and industries for human resource development and for consultancy work.
- To inculcate a culture of innovation and creativity in the renewable energy related sector for vehicular application.
- To provide R&D facilities to sustain the faculty, the university community and the related industry well into the future, encompassing intelligent vehicle, renewable energy source for vehicle power system, fuel efficiency study, assistive robotics and manufacturing system, advance product designs, vibration control etc toward industry revolution 4.0.
